Mike and Maureen RVing around the USA

Redding is a good central spot for sightseeing this northern region of CA.  In town there is a great public park with a beautiful sundial bridge, a museum, gift shop, picnic tables, and FREE parking.  About 10 minutes from our RV park is Shasta Dam on Shasta Lake.  It is so sad to see the water so low in the lake (down 125 feet so far).  They have not let water out of the dam for seven years!
